Since our grand opening in 2008, our studio has been dedicated to providing exceptional dance instruction in a fun, friendly, and supportive atmosphere. Our mission is to build a welcoming dance community that offers comfort and convenience to students, staff, independent teachers, and both amateur and professional dancers.


We teach students of all ages and skill levels, offering personalized private lessons, engaging group classes, and exciting dance events at all of our locations. Our programs include:

Our Instructors


Ilya Barmotin
As part of a NY/NJ formation team, Ilya placed 3rd in the United States National Formation Championships in Provo, Utah. He was a featured dancer in many shows and festivals including appearances as a principal dancer in nationally televised commercials and on TV shows such as "Good Morning America". He successfully represented United States in Europe, placing in top 10 at the international Championships in Berlin, Germany. After retiring from his competitive career, Ilya continues to make a huge impact on Dancesport in United States. For over 7 years he has been co-owner of "Basic Ballroom' Dance Studio - one of the largest dance studios in New York. He also co-organizes Islanders Dancesport Challenge competition. Throughout his teaching career, Ilya raised many young regional and national champions in various divisions totaling to over 30 national titles.
Vladimir Karpov
I started dancing at 7 years old. My first lesson that I began to teach were at the age of 15.
During the 23 years of my dancing career, I was:

Couples who I teach are champions of Russia, Poland, Slovakia, Latvia, Estonia, Singapore, Kazakhstan, Israel, and Canada.
Also they are finalists of the World and the European Championship.
* For the last 9 years I have been living in USA I have coached and trained couples who have become USA National Champions, 4x World Championship finalist Show dance amateur, World Show dance Silver and Bronze medalists, World Championships finalist first time ever in Youth 10 Dance category, Senior 2 vice world champions and bronze medalist in ten dance, one time World Game representatives. First time ever WDSF smooth world champions
Kairat Algadaev
Professional ballroom dancer and instructor. More than 20 years of dancing experience. Current WDSF Vice World Champion, US National Champion and Multiple time prize winner on international competition. Very passionate about teaching and working with both kids and adults
